Incident Reports
The figures in the attached chart are compiled for the period 1st September, to 31st August, which is the Team's year. They include all incidents that have come to the Teams’ attention and reported to the Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland on their incident forms.
The figure below shows these figures in chart form. The figures for the early years may not be accurate but are figures found in previous notes, Minutes and Newsletters. They probably fall short of the actual number.
Incidents recorded by the Team are submitted to the Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland statistician, who publishes the annual figures for Scotland. Details of incidents are published in the Scottish Mountaineering Clubs Journal. Details can also be found in our annual report.
