1st July 2010 - The Ochils Mountain Rescue Team open their new Post at Fishcross. Press release.

15th June 2010 - The Ochils Mountain Rescue Team are busy organising the official opening of our new post for the beginning of next month (July '10). Former members and current members will be along to see the the new building and the facilities in use. The team plan to allow groups and schools to come along to visit our new base and have a chat about mountain rescue. Further details to follow.

30th January 2010 - The Ochils Mountain Rescue Team move into their new Mountain Rescue Post at Benview, Tillicoultry.

9th January 2010 - Assisted Central Scotland Police to search open ground near Polmont for missing Brightons man Andrew Ainsworth. Link 1 and Link 2 refer.

7th January 2010 - Assisted Central Scotland Police following "cries for help" being heard from the front of Wester Kirk Craig at Tillicoultry. Several reports had been received and with severe cold and snow, a search was carried out on the front of the hillside. Nothing found.

14th December 2009 - Assisted Lomond MRT for the search of a missing person in the Comer area of Ben Lomond. Search involved several teams and SARDA from the MRCofS. Body later recovered.

11th November 2009 - Assisted in a search for a missing dog on Abbey Craig.

8th November 2009  - Provided advice to Central Scotland Police following the sighting of lights on the hills above Tillicoultry Quarry.

7th November 2009 - Assisted Central Scotland Police to recovered an injured female off Dumyat.

27th August 2009 - Assistance given to Central Scotland Police to locate an overdue hill runner in the Dollar Glen area. Found safe and well, having turned up near Kinross.

5th August 2009 - Assistance given to Central Scotland Police to search for a missing person from the Falkirk area. Extensive searches in open woodland in and around Falkirk carried out. He was late found dead at the canal near to Falkirk Royal Infirmary. Link1 and Link 2

9th June 2009 - The Ochil's MRT and Lomond MRT assist the Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland to launch their Mountain Map Search Management Software.More.

27th May 2009 - The Ochil's MRT assist the local police in Stirling to recover the body of a male person from rough ground.

26th May 2009 - The Ochil's MRT assist with the search of a missing male from Fallin. After extensive searches in the area surrounding his home over 2 days the team were stood down. Unfortunately the body of a male was found later in the River Forth.

1st May 2009 - The Ochil's MRT announce that the tendering process has commenced for the building of their new Mountain Rescue Post. The building is expected to be completed towards the end of the year. Kev Mitchell, Team Leader said he was delighted that the process of building a new post with support from the Order of St John.
