Donations and Funding

The Ochils Mountain Rescue Team is a Scottish Charity (SCO24517) and like most mountain rescue teams in Scotland, relies on public donations and sponsorship. The running cost of the Ochils Mountain Rescue Team can be considerable, but spending depends on your donations. The team members play an important part in the operational needs of search and rescue work, but they also assist by raising funds by attending fetes and collection days. This type of funding is only a small part and we rely on other donations to enable us to continue our work.

Please feel free to HELP US to allow us to HELP YOU, you never know when our assistance may be needed. We do NOT pass on the costs of a search or rescue to the people we assist, we pick up the tab.
